Amanda Ory Luc
Amanda Luc graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Paralegal Studies. She has been with our firm since April 2002. Amanda has worked in the legal field since 1994 initially as an assistant to a defense firm while earning her degree. She has been working as a paralegal since 1999. She assists the attorneys in preparing cases from the initial interview through the actual jury trial as a trial assistant. She has also prepared mediation presentations and power point trial presentations, along with witness and exhibit preparation. Amanda has worked in the areas of aviation law having assisted at a wrongful death trial with the firm in Orlando, Florida; Railroad law (FELA), having assisted on State and Federal cases throughout the Southeastern United States as well as maritime cases for accidents out of Africa requiring discovery in England on matters pending in United States District Court in Lafayette, Louisiana . In the past, she also worked on cases involving asbestos litigation and medical malpractice. She has attended numerous seminars which include Medical Records Management for Louisiana Paralegals, Document Gathering, Production and Management for Litigation Paralegals in Louisiana, Advanced Personal Injury Procedures in Louisiana for the Experienced Litigation Paralegal and How to Get More Organized. Originally from Pascagoula, Mississippi, Amanda now resides in Carriere, Mississippi with her husband, Jesse. Back to the Attorney Profiles Page.
