Welcome to the Web site of Davis • Saunders, A Professional Law Corporation. This site is designed to provide information about our firm and the services we offer. We are glad you have chosen to visit our Web site. We hope you enjoy your visit and return often as the site is expanded and updated.

Since 1975, the firm has concentrated in railroad law litigation representing railroad workers injured on-the-job who are covered under the provisions of the Federal Employers' Liability Act as their sole and only remedy.  In this capacity, the members of the firm have tried cases to verdict before juries in New Orleans, Louisiana and from Houston, Texas to Washington, D.C., including many venues in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Viginia, and Maryland.  The firm is designated legal counsel for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen.  Its partner, Ben Saunders, has served as chairman of the BLET Designated Legal Counsel, Chairman of the Railroad Law Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and as President of the American Rail Labor Attorneys.  In addition, he is recognized in the field of railroad law in the Best Laywers in America.  Our newest lawyer, Joseph M. Miller, has recently published the latest article on railroad law preemption in the current edition of the Loyola Law Review in New Orleans.
